gordylad Posted February 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2017 Can anyone who has been on this cruise around July/August comment if the weather has been favourable enough to use the pools etc Thanks
Groovybusybee Posted February 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2017 We did this cruise in the requested time span and whilst we didn't use the pools the weather was glorious apart from the last day cruising down the east coast of England. The temps were low 30s all fortnight. I found that as the trip is port intensive the sea days were spent enjoying all the activities on the ship, rather than sitting round the pool area - but people were using the pools. Please note that I grew up on the north east coast of England and am used to coming out of the sea blue with cold  it felt positively tropical to me! Enjoy, it's a wonderful cruise - it remains my favourite. Debbie

reilly1 Posted February 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2017 We are doing a Baltic cruise on July 16th on Eclipse - our 4th time in the Baltic. First cruise was wall to wall sunshine, second one was mixed and third one was awful weather. It is difficult to say. Weather in this region in July & August can change from day to day, hour to hour even. Just bring layers and something waterproof and hope for the best. Still our favourite region despite the unpredictable weather. There is always the option of the Indoor Pool too!
