misfit72ford Posted February 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Just wanted to share my excitement about the last minute (for us at least) cruise I am taking with my friend. We board the Ecstacy on the 28th. We have already purchased Cheers for the room and I chose my check in time. Is there anything else I should do ASAP? We both have valid passports so that isn't an issue. Thanks!
jsfromsc Posted February 9, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Book shore excursions? Also purchase trip insurance, if you haven't already done so. Have a great trip.
misfit72ford Posted February 9, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Thanks. I did buy non Carnival insurance immediately. Our plan is to stay on the ship in Nassau since we have both been there before. The other stop is Half Moon Cay so it will be beach time. Jenn1974 Posted February 9, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Awesome. I booked 45 days out and this wait has been longer than any of the previous waits. I am now 14 days away from sailing and losing my friggin mind..

I am now 14 days away from sailing and losing my friggin mind.. I'm one of those obsessive planners and I feel like I will forget something. Usually by now every detail is planned and I'm 75% packed. I've got to get working on everything. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Forums mobile app

ALready had the shuttle company number in my phone and my hotel for precruise picked.. LOL
ID Cruiser Posted February 10, 2017 #12 Share Posted February 10, 2017 On Monday, my wife booked a cruise out of Miami that leaves on Saturday. I have figured out excursions for 3 of the days, it usually takes me months to accomplish this, I am a little nervous being rushed so much, but it is exciting.
