Danno Posted June 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2004 ...I have just made arrangements to be in Vancouver in early September, Wed-Sun, on business. I am staying at the Hyatt downtown. I think I find myself with Saturday free. How far from the Hyatt is the cruise ship pier? Can I walk? Are there likely to be ships in?? I am quite excited to be going to Vancouver, it is my first trip west of SS Marie in Canada. I have been to San diego and Los Angeles in the US...somehow I think the mountains will be an experience. FionaM Posted June 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2004 Hi Danno. These are the ships that will be in port when you are here http://www.portvancouver.com/vanAlaCruise/content/schedule/schedule.html The hyatt hotel is only a few blocks to Canada Place. Easy walking. The weather during September is usually very nice. Check out HelloBC.com for some ideas on what to do if you have some time. Hope you enjoy your stay.
