Carnival Glory - Luggage Express

Just got off a 7 day cruise on the Glory out of Miami. Awesome cruise, but mid-week we went to Guest Services to ask about Luggage Express and the girl told me that it was discontinued about a year ago. Should have asked but didn't cause I was so suprised and you know you have that after thought...... did she mean it was just discontinued on the Glory or on all Carnival ships? We have always loved luggage express and certainly hope Carnival still offers it.

My understanding is that it is fleet-wide. It appears that the airlines no longer allow it.

Luggage express was discontinued the first week of May 2016 just before my cruise on the Splendor. While the official Carnival word is the airlines no longer supported it. There are still a few cruise lines that still offer the service.

We really liked the luggage express also. Carnival made a big mistake removing it. They tried telling me that the airlines had stopped allowing it, but I called them on it and had them stuttering. Finally the young lady said she didn't know why they had stopped it.
