Who is the present Captain of Norwegian Getaway?

Just wondering who the current Captain is of the Getaway. We have sailed on NCL a few times and were thinking one of our previous Captains might be on the Getaway now. Thanks for the help!

Lars Bengtsson is currently the Captain on The Getaway. He goes on vacation in mid April.

We had Capt. Bengtsson on the Getaway last September.

 

He's nice! My sister went to the atrium bar one day when the cruise director Silas was doing a presentation. She placed her drink order with the bartender, but a few seconds later another crew member came up and asked for her order. She said she'd already placed her order. But then she was eyeing his all white uniform suspiciously and was like, "Wait a minute, are you the captain?"

 

He smiled and said, "Yes." It was Lars Bengtsson. He had been waiting in the bar area for Silas to introduce him for the Captain's presentation.

Wow, what a cool story! Thanks for sharing it with me. I'm so glad to know the Getaway has a great Captain and cruise director. This is our first time on the Getaway. We went on the Escape twice last year because we loved it so much. Tyler Gray was our cruise director on the Escape and he was awesome. He's from Chattanooga TN, very friendly and he somehow is everywhere on the ship! 🌟 Thanks again
