You might be lucky. Make sure you let P&O know that it is a special occasion. Also let your cabin stewards know and they might do something too.

 

They often decorate cabin doors with balloons and a sign saying happy birthday/anniversary etc.

You used to get a cake for special occasions for free. Now you can have a small cake (about the size of a big cupcake) for free or pay for a "birthday package". They have full sized cakes to share, flowers and/or different bottles of champagne depending on how much you want to spend (I think it was from $20). Just see the Head Waiters in the restaurant if you want details.

Freebies? Well we didnt drink apart from the sailaway cocktail on the 1st night which cost $10 each. Apart from that there were the beer coights to win free beer. Also free cocktails were given at Captains cocktail party but they were watered down. Thats about it. I couldnt be of any help to be honest. Sorry! We just had mocktail my girls and I.
