tilliebob1919 Posted February 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Has anyone stayed in this stateroom on the Conquest or one of it's sister ships in the same category. Just wondering what it is like and what it possibly be under. Know it's more or less the lobby before the card room area. Can anyone be more specific??? TYIA. carmi0018 Posted February 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2017 No Answers! Shame! I wish I could tell you, but if you go to Carnivals website, you can look at the ships and compare..
rflan22 Posted February 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Will be in this cabin in May! I have been on the Liberty Cabin #2289, which is the opposite side of the deck, and had no problems with any sort of noise at all. Hoping this is similar for the Conquest! Sent from my iPad using Forums I was actually in that cabin once and moved before the trip. It is right under the lobby so could possibly be noisy. Part of it is under the exterior deck (walkway/hangout spot on deck 3) but that part may be a little quieter. Are rooms 2278 - 2286 available? You would be under shore excursions which will be a lot quieter. I am sure firemanbobswife will be able to give you a more direct answer to this question :). It appears that 2308 is under the space that is used by Ship's Officers as their office space. I sat outside on the promenade frequently at night and would see them at their desks. I don't think it would be very noisy late at night or early in the morning from there. Only noise could be people moving the deck chairs from above, however, I wouldn't suspect it be anywhere near the amount as say under Lido. I think it is a pretty safe cabin. tilliebob1919 Posted February 22, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted February 22, 2017 To you all, thank you! To firemanbobswife...you make me feel so much better now that I have a more specific idea of what I am under. As you said, it should be pretty safe and am looking forward to it. Gallivanting Souls Posted February 23, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 23, 2017 We were in 2473 on the Christmas sailing. No noise from above. Only noise we heard was when docking. Pulling in or out ropes and some vibrations. Nothing that would keep me from booking this room again. Very spacious. Two large windows.
Cruise Girly 88 Posted February 24, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 24, 2017 We booked 2292 last year and it was quiet, we were under one of the booths on the floor above. No issues with noise.
