Advice for family with children?

On our last trip to Grand Cayman, we did the stingray excursion with our then 5 and 7 year old girls. They loved those soft gentle stingrays that kept gently gliding all over them. They even wanted to take a baby ray home with them to live in the bathtub. And at only $30 per adult and $20 per child, you couldn't beat Nativeways prices. They have a top notch operation, too. The water was only about waist deep and we held the children so they would feel more secure which worked out great.

This is our second trip to Grand Cayman and we're going to rent a car for the day and hit all of the sights including the "Turtle Farm" and "Hell." We went to www.aviscayman.com and rented a compact 4 door car for only $45. This was a cruisers "all-inclusive" deal that included $35,000 in insurance with no deductibles, a driving permit which is required, and fuel for the day. The only problem is that they drive on the left hand side of the road, but we are going to drive slowly and follow the flow of traffic. Once you make your online reservation, all you have to do is walk 2 blocks from the pier to the "Blue Iguana" gift shop where they will pick you up and take you to pick up your car. They drop you off at the pier at the end of your rental. For just $45 our entire family can explore the whole island for the day and go wherever we want to. You can't beat that deal in my opinion!:)

I agree- Nativeway gave a great tour. We did the Rays, Reef and Rumpoint excursion. The snorkeling at the reef wouldn't be good for the 3 year old but he would like the stingrays and the beach at Rum Point, the water was beautiful. They have several tours to choose from.
