Jayjoy93 Posted February 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2017 We are looking at two of the excursions offered for Royal Caribbean in Marseleilles. Either the Panoramic Marseilles and Aix or Avignon Discovery Full Day tour. Any suggestions of one over the other? epixx Posted March 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2017 Considering that the prices are the same, I would definitely select Avignon. The Marseille/Aix excursion is incredibly easy and cheap to do on your own and is therefore extremely overpriced for what you will get from RCI. At least with the Avignon excursion you get a guided tour, which you would not get if you went on your own. Also, if you compared DIY to both places, the trains to/from Avignon are clearly more expensive than to/from Aix, and the timing for the former is a little trickier as there are fewer options (though not impossible by any means). Thus, the Avignon trip is a far superior value and most likely at least (if not more) interesting than Marseille/Aix.
