Hello,

We are on the Pearl on the 13th of March for 10 days and every port is out of the US, so we will have zero access to cell services to check messages. We do not plan to buy any internet. I have 2 elderly parents and was wondering if there was a phone number some could contact the ship in case something catastrophic should happen to one back home while sailing? Morbid, I know.:o

Morbid, but necessary!

It didn't like my URL. Here are directions:

STEP 1

Call 888-627-4477 from within the United States to contact someone on the ship. From outside the United States, dial 732-335-3280.

STEP 2

Listen to the menu options and select the ship you wish to contact. An automated voice will list each ship and state which number to press, followed by the pound sign. For example, it will say, "Press three pound (3#) for the Norwegian Star". If you need further assistance or help, press zero pound (0#) for the operator.

STEP 3

Enter your credit card number followed by the pound sign. As of 2010, you may use a Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, JCB or Carte Blanche credit card. You will be charged $7.95 per minute once you are connected to the ship and there is a maximum allotment of 10 minutes per call.

STEP 4

Give the party's name with whom you wish to speak once you are connected with the ship. You will be transferred to the ship's state room. If desired, leave a message if they don't answer. They can call you back using the satellite phone.
