Spring break or Christmas on Dcl and why?

Toss up. We LOVE the Christmas (MerryTime) cruises and WDW at this season, but weather can be iffy. Also, if you are looking at Christmas week, prices are through the roof. If you are dealing with a college that would enable you to go earlier in December, that's much better. Also, tons of teens on Christmas week!

Spring break--various schools have different break weeks. Prices are certainly not low during this season, but not nearly so high as Christmas week. Generally warmer, better weather. More spread of age ranges on the ship.

The week of December 4 is usually reasonable when I comes to cost and the Christmas season. I think it's because everyone is just getting back from Thanksgiving break and no one takes that week off.

Given your time situation.....spring break will be a lot more cost effective. Also better weather. You'll miss the holiday decorations and the special activities' date=' but you'll have plenty to keep you busy.[/quote']

Spring break is up there in cost now too

True, but Christmas and Thanksgiving weeks are typically the worst. You just need to decide what works best for you. If you want ocean swimming, the warmer months will be better. We've cruised both March and December on DCL. In part, weather is a flip of a coin, but in general, March will be significantly warmer.
