Boat Rentals in St. Thomas

Hi there-

Has anyone ever rented a boat for a few hours in St. Thomas. If so so they charge per person or per hours? Prices?? Any located near Sapphire Beach?

Do they have the small boats like the Rhino/Jet Ski boat things? I am looking for a cheap way for 4 people to browse around for about 2 hours. I saw St. Maarten had Rhino Riders and Small Infatable motorized boats cheap.

The Jet skis seemed so expensive for 2 people.

Any help!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Try Pocket Yachts...ask for the Cruise Ship Special...tell Dan (owner) that Vicky and Sandy sent you....you will get the special price. Includes 2 hours, 3 stops, Captain (if you want him) drinks, snorkel and fishing equip, minimum of 4, maximum of 6 at $50 per person. He will take you wherever you want.

Some Info: Prices range from around $185-$480 for ½ day rentals and $220-$530 for a full day, in addition to fuel consumed. Prices vary based on type and size of boat. Captains are available if necessary for an extra fee, usually around $70-$110. Dinghy rentals are also an option. They are suitable for near shore exploration and beach hopping. You can try http://www.stthomasboatrentals.com for boats. I think these folks http://www.piratescovevi.com/activities.html might do dinghy rentals. Pocket Yachts is a great choice. So you have options, look into it and see which works best for you. ;)
