Specialty Restaurants Gratuities?

Included in the restaurants, but they just pulled a fast one for the Chef's Table. The tip used to be included, but they are now adding a tip to the service charge. So you are now tipping on a tip.

From the website:

The fee includes a starter, entrée, dessert and the wait staffs’ gratuity; additional gratuities are optional and may be extended in cash or to the guest's Sail & Sign Account, at the guest's discretion

 

That is for all of the specialty dining except Chefs Table which requires an additional 15%

Thanks everyone. What I thought but juggling 3 cruises on 3 different lines this year and trying to move $ around for each one.

Always thought they were being disingenuous by telling us tip was included in the charge but encouraged us to tip more.
