Malch_uk Posted March 22, 2017 #11 Share Posted March 22, 2017 Probably be very similar to this year's sailings. There are only so many places you can sail to from Newcastle within a 7/14 day timespan.

jake 26 Posted March 23, 2017 #15 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Fire and Ice - Wonder how they get a sea day between Invergordon and Newcastle??? To make the cruise 14 nights I should think. Leave Invergordon late and cruise to the most northern point of Moray Firth then a gentle 12 knot cruise to Newcastle docking early morning. davecttr Posted March 24, 2017 #16 Share Posted March 24, 2017 I like the look of land of the midnight sun but find that there is no Kristian Lund in Norway. There is in the middle of Denmark? Kristiansund is 590 nautical miles from Newcastle so is doable with a sea day. edit - the next port at Bodo is just over 300 nautical miles which is 15 hours at 20 knots and Discovery should be capable of more than that. Jakanne1 Posted March 27, 2017 #23 Share Posted March 27, 2017 Anyone know what's happening between 18th August when it returns to Newcastle and 4th September when it leaves Southampton? I'm wondering what the repositioning cruise itinerary will be from Newcastle to Southampton.
