Just booked Holiday Inn across from the beach in Ft Lauderdale, Priceline $110.

How bad is this place?

Has any one had any experience here?

I guess that it's only for one night before we sail on Star Princess Jan 15, 2005.

We stayed there, no complaints. I actually got a lower rate from the front desk person. They are right across the street from the beach, steps away from restaurants, bars, gift shops etc. I bought a beach chair at a gift shop for $8, then gave it away. I'd stay here again. You can walk about 1/2 mile to get the water taxi - see beautiful homes and shops/restaurants bar hop.

It's about a 30 minute walk to the other hotels - sheratons etc. It's safe to walk around day and night.
