Sail & Sign / gift card / cash question

So I received a $500 gift card from work and I am planning on putting it on our S&S acct. Obviously we can charge whatever as we go.

My question is can I use any of these funds in the casino? I thought I read you can add slot credits, can I do this on table games? And can I just cash out if there is a balance at the end (yea right)

I would imagine if this is how it works on a gift card, I could use a credit card the same way - without receiving any credit card cash out transaction fees. This would work for me as I am a mileage/points junky and normally pay off my cards weekly/monthly, and am looking to minimize the amount of cash we are taking with us to only have some for the islands (and singles for tips)

Any input is great!

Download or add Player's Club funds from your S&S account is possible on the slot and certain video cards games, BUT if you do so at the tables or cage there is a 3% convenience fee. There are daily limits as to how much you can transfer from your ship's spending account to the OPC Player's Bank, see a slot host to verify how much. You can cash out, in part or the whole Bank, with the cage anytime during the cruise for currency in hand. ALSO be aware casino management does monitor those that make frequent downloads from the S&S account, if they feel you have not played enough on the slots or electronics you could find yourself suspended from doing so (including on other OPC related cruise lines).

Yes, if you work it through the S&S system. If you present a credit or debit card directly to the cashier you will be charged 5.5% or a minimum of $5.50 for a cash advance on top of whatever your bank or credit company will assess. KIM regardless of which method you use, if the credit/debit card fails any of the test transactions (based on average daily spending), your S&S account will be flagged and further on board spending suspended until another viable funding method is presented to Guest Services.
