Casino at Sea Program - how to get it?

I do a fair share of gambling - but mostly poker (1-2 no limit or 4-8 limit). And play on the ship whatever the game is - often 4-8.

How do I get Casino At Sea "membership"? Is it given by NCL or the casinos on land? If on land, which "chain"?

Any detail appreciated. I usually cruise about 3x per year.

Thanks. Mike

Just get a players card when you cruise to build points while you gamble . When you're ready to book another cruise, call CAS to see if you can book with them. My last 5 cruises have been comped or heavily discounted with CAS.

My husband played poker everyday and session they had on our 2015, 10 day cruise. Would he have points built up? After reading this I was just wondering if he should call prior to our November 13 day Transatlantic cruise.

It's worth calling, you never know!

I've never gotten a offer from CAS. But, whenever I call, I just tell them what cruise I want to go on, and they tell what comp they can give me. For OP asking about DH playing poker, only he'd know if he gave them his name or card when he played. If he didn't, they won't even know he played at all. But, even then, poker comps are horrible both on land and sea. The casino only gets the rake, so they don't make a lot of money on poker. As a result, they don't comp it much either.

I play 3 Card & Let it Ride & frequently get offers from CAS by email. Points add up really fast if you play the machines but not so much @ the tables. On your last night in the casino, go over to the Players Club desk (before 9:00 pm) and ask if you're eligible for a credit. I've gotten credit against my onboard account on a few cruises & on one that didn't show enough activity (although I lost quite a bit) they asked when our next cruise was & since it was less than a year, they suggested I apply it on the next cruise.

Do you have to call or will they send you offer in Email and snail mail like CCL. We just sailed NCL for the first time and played a lot of $25.00 and $50.00 Blackjack.
I've gotten offers by email and snail mail, but they never work into my schedule. I usually call and book my cruises.
