I agree with the fan app! If you need it just for the noise, like we do, the app works great for it! It's free, loud, and you are already taking your phone with you!

I have a fan about 12 inches plugs into the wall and it is perfect so far I have never had it confiscated

This year we have smartened up and purchased a 10" fan and a 5" personal one since I have to have it as cool as possible in the room. Both very quiet and purchased both on amazon for under $30 total. Last 3 years I have seen people bring fans on board that are too big to fit in a backpack. I have never seen a problem with it.

 

Beats trying to get one brought to your room with a chance they run out.

I can't sleep without my fan noise. The best I've found is on Amazon (Dizaul mini USB rechargeable). Great, compact fan that's perfect for cruising as it takes up very little space but really packs a punch. Can use the rechargeable battery or plug it in with the cord they give you. $14.99 on Amazon. I love it so much I bought a second one for the office.

I have this fan and LOVE it! It is a powerful little fan. I like the noise and air movement in the room so I use it on low. It would be very effective for someone who needs cooling. It runs a long time when unplugged too.
