Other beach day options: all inclusive hotels/resorts

It looks like some hotels will be closed for awhile due to Wilma. I checked Iberostar and Melia and both were closed due to repairs. Does anyone know if Cozumel Palace is open? or others that are like it? We will be in Cozumel on the 12th of Dec. I know that some of these hotels/resorts offered day packages for us cruisers and I'm hoping to spend my day next to a hotel size pool with beach access. Melia resort was offering a $30 day AI package before Wilma hit. If anyone has any other information please share. Thanks!!

Not one of the AI resorts will be open in December. Cozumel Palace won't open until mid 2006. You are probably going to have to make do with one of the beach clubs.

Bruce is correct. Hotel damages are more extensive than first reported. Some may be open in January but even that is optimistic.
