miclane001 Posted November 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2005 I posted yesterday about getting around with a 1-year-old. Now I'm wondering how many passengers taxis can handle. There will be a total of 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children--13, 7 and 1. I'm finding the rental cars that are available for when we will be in Cozumel are subcompacts and Jeeps that aren't big enough for all of us. Any ideas? solita Posted November 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2005 Most taxi (cars) take 4 passengers...I am sure a 1 year old doesn´t figure into the count. But there are also taxi vans that can hold up to 12. There are some rental car companies that offer larger vehicles...I know Executive offers vans. cruise.freak Posted November 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2005 We used a taxi for our ride out and back to Paradise Beach witha family of five. Kids are 17, 15, and 11. We were a little croweded but not bad. We paid 20.00 on the way out there (but we didn't have to wait in a line) and 15.00 on the way back.
