Dawn/Star Suite Balcony Difference

We had a 'romance suite' at the back corner of the ship last year on the Star on the 10th floor (room 10726) and loved it. However, the balcony did not go around the corner of the ship as the diagram shows (it was blocked off by an emergency type ladder and a door access to somewhere for the crew), though the balcony on the suite below us did. We booked the room below it (9732) on the Dawn for a trip next March hoping that it was the same set-up as the Star and the balcony would not be blocked off and allow us to walk around the corner and see the view from that side of the ship. Just wondering if anyone could tell us if it actually does. Thanks!

I did a search for information on cabin 9732 on the DAWN here on the CC boards and found this posted by one of our CC members......

Category AE (AFT Penthouse Suites) on decks 8 and 9 for both the Dawn and Star have the same basic layout and decor except, the wrap around balconies on staterooms 9732,9232, 8670 and 8170 are blocked off on the Dawn. They are NOT blocked off on the Star. If you find an accommodating steward on the Dawn, they can open the partition to give access to the wrap around balcony, but if you don't find a way to keep the door from flapping, it's likely that security will lock the door again (because other passengers complain about the noise).
