terri1020 Posted March 31, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2017 I know that I can probably find the answer to this question if I search, but time is not on my side today. Can anyone tell me the difference between bungalows or cabanas on RCL's private island please. Thank you in advance.
dpostman Posted March 31, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2017 (edited) I know that I can probably find the answer to this question if I search, but time is not on my side today. Can anyone tell me the difference between bungalows or cabanas on RCL's private island please. Thank you in advance. As far as I know, The Cabanas are located on the North Side of the island, facing the ship anchoring area. Suite guests have priority booking and they will then offer up the remaining ones to other guests. The view of the ship and isolated area makes for a peaceful day but beach access is limited because that area is very rocky. So you have to go out of the area to access the water. The Beach Bungalows are located on the far end of the RCI owned part of the island (South Beach) and are available for rent to all ship guests. They can accommodate 6 people on the sofas and have curtains you can close for shade. As of 3 weeks ago, they included water, lunch delivered to the bungalow, 2 floating mats and 2 loungers next to the Bungalow. This was the view from our Bungalow And our Bungalow The view down the bungalow area And this guy came by to say Hi as I was walking in the area dp Edited March 31, 2017 by dpostman
terri1020 Posted April 6, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted April 6, 2017 Thank you! Access to the water is important to us, so it looks like we'll be renting a bungalow. What is the cost?
GWBonthego Posted April 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2017 Consult your online Cruise Planner for prices / availability, last I saw the beds were $125 and the bungalows $175 I think.
GWBonthego Posted April 6, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2017 I stand corrected -- just checked and the bungalow is $149 (for my sailing this June, your date may be different).
