MaryLS Posted April 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2017 Last Sunday evening there were plenty of Studio cabins available on the Breakaway for January 2018. On Monday, they show that the entire category is sold out. Did they really sell out overnight or being held by Travel Agents? If being held, how long are they normally held before they are released? perditax Posted April 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 1, 2017 There only seem to be two BA cruises in January, both 14 day Carib. The first one shows to me as having studios available, the second does not. They are definitely getting more and more popular (and expensive). You'd think other lines would catch on. denatravels Posted April 1, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 1, 2017 Its possible that it's a glitch. I looked on the travel agent site and it's not showing that category AT ALL (usually when it's sold out, it shows just as zero availability). Try calling. MaryLS Posted April 2, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted April 2, 2017 I did call and was informed they were "sold out" or "being held by travel agents".
denatravels Posted April 2, 2017 #9 Share Posted April 2, 2017 I did call and was informed they were "sold out" or "being held by travel agents". Ok-- I don't think I believe that this is true. (Not you- them). It's not showing up AT ALL, which is very unusual. Wouldn't be the first time the call center didn't know what they're talking about. I would keep checking.
