Good or Bad..

We were on Splendor in March, we had the first interior cabin on deck 2 forward. No porthole but the waves were a nice rocking motion that actually helped us sleep better. I don't recall the lines or anchor being an issue, we were either up or getting up about then.

We stayed in 2216 on the Splendor and I frequently heard mechanical sounds coming from that forward area. There was a crew door just forward of those cabins and I saw guys in coveralls going in and out. The booming and slamming of the waves against the hull was shocking at first, but I got used to it. I'm a terrible sleeper anyways, so it didn't matter. My child slept fine on the sofa bed. I did like how big the room was. I'd book a 1A again to save money.
