Carnival Breeze march 19-Left makeup case in stateroom.

My daughter left her makeup case on the Breeze when we disembarked on March 26 in Galveston. I have called guest services and filed a report via email as well. Have not received any feedback, just told it could take 8 weeks. It should have been easily picked up and turned in by our stateroom attendant. Does anyone have any experience with this? Should I suspect that its gone forever or just keep waiting it out. It was like a small piece of luggage with a lot of expensive pallets that she also uses for dance competition. :( Thanks for any feedback!

I wouldn't count on getting it back. We have left items on board two different times and even called before leaving the terminal with no luck. Sorry :(

My son left a duffle bag on this cruise as well. It was empty, other than some cash in one pocket. I called and filed a report and was told 8 weeks as well. We still haven't heard anything.

If you are in the port and notice you have left something, go to embark area and ask for a supervisor. They can radio the ship and typically you will have your items within a half hour.
