Rowan555 Posted November 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2005 We're about to begin packing and having our usual debate about whether or not to skip formal nights! Can anyone tell me which days Conquest normally does the formal nights? I guess I can search webshots and see what's on the menu those nights too, to see if it's worth getting everyone dressed up. My husband and son hate dressing up, plus I just hurt my foot, which means dressy shoes will most likely be painful. I'd hate to get there and regret not being able to go to the dining room those two nights, but I would also rather have everyone feel like they can relax and have a good time without having to worry about dressing up. Now my daughter will be in the dining room each night in floor length velvet dresses - that's what she wears to go jump on the trampoline or ride her bike, lol! If only dh and ds enjoyed dressing up that much!
Blndiebby25 Posted November 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2005 Formal nights are Day 2 and Day 5. Why not just go with your daughter and have a mother/daughter night? :)

nybumpkin Posted November 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2005 On our sailing, they took the formal photos (as opposed to the casual photos or the ones with the costumed staff) in the dining room on the second formal night, so you may want to keep that in mind if you're into dining room photos. First formal night has the lobster tail (and the pumpkin soup appetizer!) Can't remember the second formal night's menu, but I had no complaints about the dining room. Enjoy your cruise!
