seashells08 Posted April 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2017 How far from cruise terminal, cost of taxi, and is it worth the trip?
cruiseapril Posted April 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2017 Best to do this with an excursion as it is a short tour. There are quite s few excursions which include it.
OCruisers Posted April 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2017 Agree with April. The Distillery takes only 15 minutes to see completely. It was included in our shore excursion to the beach.
dopey1200 Posted April 13, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 13, 2017 I think it's just a little too far to walk to, but a short drive - maybe 5-10 minutes? I was told by a taxi driver that he would charge us $40 to take us there, wait for us and then bring us back right to the ship. This was from the taxi stand right across the floating pedestrian bridge. We only had about an hour & 15 minute to get back to the ship, so we didn't do it. I didn't want to put my trust in the taxi driver to get us back in time. I have read that it only takes 20 minutes to tour the distillery. I did buy myself some of the liquor at a gift shop in town. cruiseapril Posted April 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 21, 2017 We took a ship's tour which included the Museum, the Distillery, and Jan Thiel and was a tour of a good portion of part of the island with the guide describing the areas. Most ships should offer something similar.

How much does the Curacao liquor cost?
