I am leaving Friday for a Med cruise on the Splendour, so I will look at your pics when I get a chance.

 

They are going on the Star Princess next February (I think or March). What a coincidence.

It's so nice to see you again! I will talk to Naren about possibly geting on that cruise. That would be about our 1 year anniversary, so we'll see.

 

What is the itinerary for that cruise, where does it leave from, etc.

When you were shopping on board, did you see any faux pashminas? I've read on other threads that they've had them on other ships, but does the Star have them? And if so, what price?

Hi Vivienne,

 

I didn't see any pashminas on board the ship. Howeverrrrr, Turkey has LOADS of them! If you're stopping in Kusadasi, then save your money for cashmere pashminas in Kusadasi. They are in just about every shop along the shopping district, which is just in front of the cruise ship terminal. (I'm not sure if there IS another shopping district). Anyhoooo, I was tempted to buy more than one, but I just bought one.

 

It's crimson red. It's beautiful! I paid $10. Turkey takes USDollars, Euros and Turkish Lira (so you don't have to convert your moneys to Euros). Some pashmina vendors want $15, but they will take $10.

Hey Jen....Dates are Feb. 20-27th, leaves out of Ft. Lauderdale, and itinerary is San Juan, St. Thomas, Tortola, and Princess Cay. Get a hold of one of us if you want more info. We'd love to see you and Naren again! :)
