Do the staterooms have hair dryers?

All the ships have hair dryers. If you have heavy, long hair you might want to bring your own. Otherwise, the one they provide works fine.

The hairdryer provided on the Conquest had a pretty short cord and you had to hold down the button while drying your hair or the hair dryer would shut off. It was attached in the top drawer of the desk. It didn't put out very much heat, I have shoulder length hair and it wasn't adequate for my needs. If a hairdryer like this does not meet your needs, bring your own.

Do I need to pack my Hair Dryer?

 

A hair dryer is provided in the bathroom (Destiny, Triumph, Victory) or at the desk/vanity in the stateroom (Spirit, Pride, Legend, Conquest, Glory, Miracle, Valor). Hair dryers are not provided in the staterooms of all other ships.

They may have dryers, but it would be faster for your husband to just blow on your hair to get it dry. Their dryers stink.

I have decided this year to bring the trusty Duct Tape. Last trip on the Valor my DH dreaded the hair dryer as I made him hold the dryer and keep his finger on the ON switch. This year I will duct tape the dryer to hold the button down. This way it will eliminate.. using my DH!
