Imonaboat2017 Posted April 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2017 Since X now lets us use OBC to purchase excursions before the cruise (yay!), does anyone know the cancellation policy if we decide to use those funds elsewhere on the cruise? All I can find on the Cruise Planner is that we can book online up to 2 days before sailing, and that IF we cancel, funds will be returned to our OBC account. But I cannot find anything about an allowable time frame for doing so, if they attach a penalty, etc. Does anyone have experience with this? Thank you. WEGL81 Posted April 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2017 Wouldn't it be the same as if you paid for it with a credit card? That is, you have to cancel at least 24 hrs in advance and then you get a refund in OBC. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
cruzzzinma Posted April 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2017 I've booked two excursions with OBC and cancelled each. Each time, OBC was IMMEDIATELY refunded.
eandj Posted April 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2017 They would be cancellable up until the " cancel date" for each excursion which is printed on the ticket. Usually 24 hours pre excursion time. Then money or obc will be refunded.
Imonaboat2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted April 17, 2017 So I take it this means I won't know what the specific cancellation policy is for this excursion until I book it? Or do all ship excursions come under the 24 hour cancellation policy?
