Pensioncruiser Posted April 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2017 Anyone noticed the latest CC tables for Mid-size ships? Spirit 1st in value and second overall with Discovery 5th and 4th respectfully.:D
davecttr Posted April 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2017 It is all about opinion, for me Discovery is in a different league to any other Thomson ship I have been on.

Pensioncruiser Posted April 19, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted April 19, 2017 Chalk and cheese comes to mind. I do hope so as we have a couple of weeks on her in September and then again in February. But_but_but_but once you get used to the Spirit it's ok😁 and someone must have voted for her. Sent from my b1-720 using Forums mobile app

Gormels Posted April 19, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 19, 2017 From our perspective,we prefer the smaller ship.Whilst we enjoyed the Discovery around the Caribbean in January, we missed the friendliness of the crew and the smaller ship 'atmosphere 'of the Celebration - so much so we have booked to go back on her next year. The way things seem to be progressing with Thomson being slowly but surely taken over by TUI, I dont think that this option will be available for much longer, and we are going to enjoy it while we can. ACundy Posted April 20, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 20, 2017 Thomsons have been TUI for nearly 20 years. What is happening now is global brand consolidation. only an insider could tell us if that means organizational consolidation as well. My "guess" would be not as they must realise there are market preferences and the country/specific teams know their markets. Bit like all Ford cars are Fords but very different products in different regions, run Iargely locally Sent from my SGP611 using Forums mobile app
