gadabout60 Posted April 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2017 Just booked the Eclipse again for September and looking forward to it Last time I was on Bistro on 5 had closed and become Sushi on 5. I am not a sushi fan and tbh it seemed that the bistro was really empty most nights. Six months or so later does anyone know if it is a "success" I would love if they turned it into a tapas bar along the lines of The Glass House on P&O but I guess that isn't going to happen! TFLG Posted April 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2017 Only been on a couple of cruises since the change but it seemed to be busier than Bistro was. It still was not anywhere near full though. We went one night. I found the sushi to be average, the sashimi I was served was well below what I expected. The other stuff on the menu was good (noodles, appetizers etc were very good). And the cocktails are very good too. I would go back just for the cocktails!

TCBFlash Posted April 22, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2017 We were also just on Reflection, and though we did not try it, it was not busy most of the time.
Rare vickykay Posted April 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2017 We enjoyed it on the Solstice this past Feb. A la carte or all inclusive price ( we were able to get a discount, justvask). Didn't have sushi but enjoyed the other dishes.

nigel_c Posted April 22, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 22, 2017 My wife and I went to Sushi on 5 twice on our recent Reflection cruise. My wife was not a big Sushi fan but enjoyed both meals very much. I particularly liked the Kobe slider. The cocktails and saki were great too. Will definitely visit again on our upcoming Reflection Med cruise. Lots of people in the place on both visits. People constantly coming in too. Seemed popular to me. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
