Hotels in Jax Fl

Anyone know of a good hotel near the port in Jacksonville Fl.?

We stayed at the Holiday in last year. It's not close to the port but it did have free parking and a shuttle to the port.

the Holiday Inn at the Airport...

I understand they have a shuttle TO the ship,

but you might have to take a cab back to the Hotel...since the Shuttle is actaully an Airport Shuttle...

 

Instead of paying $100 for a motel room and parking...

I will pay $50 for a nice cheap room (all I want to do is sleep in it one night) and then pay $50 for parking...

and I will be on the road by 9:00 after we dock...(and good thing, I have an 11 hour drive, and have to be at work by 7am the next day!!)

 

I can't wait!!

 

So...which Celebration Cruise are you going to be on????

There is a Holiday Inn Express about 1 mile from the port right off of 9A on Hecksher Dr exit. This hotel is brand new and seems nice. Only restaurant right there is Wendy's, but a quick trip on 9A can get you anyplace.... If you need any other info on Jax let me know! ;)

we're staying at the holiday inn at the airport. we booked it a while ago and its pretty cheap. i went to the site to see if anything was around it, and it doesnt seem like much. i'll be there weds. i cant wait!!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express off of 9A when we cruised on the Celebration back in March. The hotel is very nice and less than a mile from the terminal. We would definitely recommend it.
