Guest caribcruzin Posted November 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2005 Normally we have always cruised from Fort Lauderdale. We are now helping our kids who are cruising on Carnival from the Port of Miami. We have no idea as to any hotels in the area. Can anyone help us out. They are flying in one day pre-cruise. Thanks! racephoto Posted November 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 22, 2005 Look for any post by TrentS on this board...he lists a bunch of hotels in the Miami area. I stayed at the Hyatt Regency which I got through Priceline. Next time I'll go back to staying on Miami Beach. It was a good hotel for the $60-something I paid, but if I had paid the rack rate I would have been very unhappy.
KarenNY Posted November 22, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 22, 2005 We like the Holiday Inn (Port Of Miami Downtown) Right across from Bayside Market Great way to pass the time . We normally fly down 2 days ahead because we take no more chances messing up cruising plans because of weather/airline issues , Flying from upstate NY you just never know what the weather will throw at you. We have tried others this is just our prefference.
