Cuba pegs the CUC at par with USD.

CDN is so weak compared to USD, so it will only get 0.73 CUC. So 100 CDN gets 73 CUC at best.

 

Whenever I do visit Cuba, I will use some Euros that I have.

100 Euros would be like 105 CUC.

100 Pounds like 115+ CUC.

Great review and even new information! We didn't know about the steps so we will have to opt for that slow elevator and also choose walking shoes over sandals. Luckily, we are doing a private tour so no rush to beat everyone. We are also on Carnival for this one since it didn't require time off for me and we get to see the night life. I don't think we will have a guest lecturer on board since our first and only stop is Cuba but that is a nice touch for Royal I think. I also like what I have read about the Latin flavor of the cruise. Next time.
