Belize Snorkel Excursion

Hello,

I am trying to book a private snorkel excursion for my family of 6 adults in Belize.

It's a bit confusing because some snorkel boats go right from where you get off of the tender, but some you need to take a plane or 45 minute water taxi to.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I think I've narrowed it down to Splash Tours, Caveman or Tuff e Nuff.

Have any of you ever used any of these?

Or, have any of you used another company for a snorkel charter in Belize?

There seems to be a huge price difference between the companies and I'm not sure what differentiates them.

There are also very differing reviews of each company.

Help please! :)

You will want to post this on the ports of call board. Personally I would stay away from the ones that require the plane flight - too much can go wrong. And you have to be very careful about being back in time for tenders as the ride is 20 minutes and it can get very jammed up an hour or so before ship departure.

As someone who lives here and travels by Tropic Air weekly if not several times a week, if the tour you want to schedule is one that gets you to the starting point by air, please do not hesitate to choose that one. People who do not live in Belize might be hesitant to get involved with air travel, but for us it is a way of life. The planes fly on time. If there are too many guests, they add another plane. They go out of their way to make sure that those of us who depend on air travel are where we need to be when we need to be. Do not let that give you pause.
