mkbnoc Posted May 15, 2017 #28 Share Posted May 15, 2017 We already pushed clocks back an hour. Roatan is still another hour behind. Local time will be different than ships time which is always confusing. Pier runners possible?? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
mkbnoc Posted May 15, 2017 #29 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Also we had rain showers all day today. If an outdoor event is scheduled again it was cancelled Day 2. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I agree, that's confusing, basically 2 time changes in 2 days? Thanks again for posting these!

Thanks again for posting these! No new notice. The only notice was of the change of ship's time. The dallies for today talks about island time difference and I'm sure it will be announced here shortly by the CD when we dock. SquishTheWhale Posted May 16, 2017 #34 Share Posted May 16, 2017 That time in Roatan certainly seems confusing. Glad we are planning on booking an excursion so we won't have to worry too much! Looking forward to more pics!!

mkbnoc Posted May 16, 2017 #36 Share Posted May 16, 2017 Beautiful resort area. Pool lounge chairs filled up fast. Plenty of chairs on the beach but ones with shade go fast as well. Pool was cool and refreshing, deepest part I saw was 4ft. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
mkbnoc Posted May 16, 2017 #37 Share Posted May 16, 2017 Zip line price was $79. Must have closed toe shoes, they rent for $5. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
mkbnoc Posted May 16, 2017 #38 Share Posted May 16, 2017 I had found several videos and pics of the resort before sailing. I did not find any of the food/drink menus. This is the main restaurant. Also there are runners taking orders pool side. UDP does not work. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

mkbnoc Posted May 17, 2017 #42 Share Posted May 17, 2017 Thank you for all the posts! It looks like a great cruise. We are cruising 7/22/17 on Escape. How has the internet been? Unfortunately I will be working while on vacation. It's been pretty good.... and pretty expensive. Just ran a speed test as we near Costa Maya. 7.5 down and 2.0 up. NCL is testing new unlimited packages. $35 for the week for social media access only. $210 for full internet without streaming. $240 for premier. Only a few times was it off and took just a few mins to come back on. There is an icafe with desktops if you don't want to carry your laptop. mkbnoc Posted May 17, 2017 #45 Share Posted May 17, 2017 Thanks for the Harvest Caye information! Sent from my iPhone using Forums Your welcome! Follow up on the restaurant at Harvest Caye. Spoke with two different couples that ate there. Both waited 45 after ordering for food to arrive. Multi tables next to them served during the wait. Seems like the service needs some work still. But you can charge to your room. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk What did you enjoy most about Harvest Caye? My fiancé and I will be on the Escape, leaving June 10th. We booked excursions for 3 of the other ports, just not HC. Trying to figure out what to do that day.
mkbnoc Posted May 17, 2017 #47 Share Posted May 17, 2017 I just had a lounger near the pool. Some shade, pool to cool off in, and a few frozen drinks made my day. Not a lot of excursions from that port. It's fairly new and not near Belize City where other ship dock and have established excursions. Here is the list currently from Ncl, most are activities/rentals around the port area. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

We will be with 3 children and i wonder if we will be able to get some chairs and shade with no problem. Is it possible to reserve upfront? The loungers and umbrellas pool side are free. First come only and they seem to go quickly. There are many more loungers along the beach. If you want a few near the pool go early. There is a child's water play area. That is closer to the beach if that helps. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
