Yayaof4andlovinit Posted May 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2017 We are sailing on June 3rd but have not reserved anytime for our 1 and 2 year old. What are the chance's we might be able to if we wait till we are on the ship? Any???
moki'smommy Posted May 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2017 People are intentionally limited in the time they can reserve in advance in order to allow those who didn't reserve to make that choice on day 1. On a 7 night cruise, the limit is 18 hours per child in advance. If space is available, guests will be able to reserve additional hours on day 2....so if you want time, either do it on line now or do it on embarkation day. They are very good about allowing you to change your times after boarding. Guess I'm confused. If you aren't cruising until June and you know you want some nursery time, why not reserve it now? If you aren't sure whether you want to use the nursery or not, will you be more sure on embarkation day? If you wait past embarkation day, your chances of getting a spot at the same time for 2 kids will decrease.
Yayaof4andlovinit Posted May 6, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted May 6, 2017 Thank yu u for the information. We just do not know right now how much we will want to use it. We will check nursery out on embarkation day. Thank yu u for giving us a little hope. YaYa
moki'smommy Posted May 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2017 Ultimately it depends on the number of "under 3s" on the ship. June is prime time for families with school kids; obviously some of those also bring young children. However, it isn't like September or January when you will encounter large numbers of families with young children and relatively fewer school aged kids. The families with only young kids will take advantage of the lower rates when school is not in session. SO...my best guess is that you'll be able to get some nursery time if you wait. The staff will do their best to work you in. But the more notice you can give them, the better.
Yayaof4andlovinit Posted May 7, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted May 7, 2017 Thank you will try. Grandparents, and an aunt an uncle will be with us so may not need it as much. At $9 an hour it can add up quick.
