mikedpa Posted May 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2017 We will be on the Noordam next Feb on the Sydney- Auckland cruise. I notice that the ship is moored at Port Arthur for a few hours but the official excursion to the Penal Colony is a day later from Hobart at the outrageous price of $399.00. Is there a reason not to offer an excursion to the Port Arthur site on the day moored?.
iata Posted May 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2017 We had moored at Port Arthur last year on Azamara quest. We just walk around and visit the buildings. They have maps with the history of those buildings. It was a nice day, really enjoyed it. No need to buy an excursion from Hobart. It is strange
