my wife and I have been on sillouette the last 3 years in a row and we are thinking of booking a cruise on the equinox. the ocean view balconies that im looking at are in the same location I like on the sillouette but the rooms that are available are showing a black triangle next to them. can someone tell me what that means. would this room be close to the same as the rooms without the triangle? thank you

For your 3 year old, I would look for a square, which means that there is a sofa bed too. The upper berth has a very low rail, and I would never concider to put my 3 year old up there.

Sorry. My bad. I read the thread while studying for my exam today and thought it said they would be sailing with a 3 year old. Obviously that was a mistake. And does it hurt to let the OP know what the square means. I really don´t think I stepped on anyones toes. But you stepped on mine.

Very sorry you feel that way. I was just trying to point out to you that there was no child involved after you stating you would never put a 3 year old in the bunk bed. I guess some people are very sensitive.
