aanselm Posted November 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2005 Hi all: I am new to Cunard, and wondering whether aerobics classes, the use of the spa's steam rooms and saunas are complementary, or if on the other hand, additional payment is required. Also, on the QM2, are there any steamrooms and/or saunas outside the Canyon Ranch Spa?? Or do I have to go into the sauna to have access to the same? Thanks

cruiserking Posted November 30, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2005 There are complementary daily am and pm workouts aboard the QM2. The only saunas are those located at the Canyon Ranch Spa, I'm sure there is a semi-affordable package available. This link will take you to the QM2's Canyon Ranch Spa menu. http://www.canyonranch.com/spaclubs/queenmary2/pdfs/qm2_menu.pdf Cruiserking

minxtabb Posted December 6, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2005 on our crossing on 26 October there was a good variety of complimentary classes available, including aerobics, pilates, yoga and stretch. the room is a bit grim (its the tender embarkation waiting room) and can either be very cold or very hot. the saunas and steam rooms are only in the spa. a day pass is $29 I think, 3 day $49 and 5 day $79 (please check these as they are from memory). you get free use of the spa if you book any treatment over $50. when we were in there, there were only about 20 people in total so plenty of room. hope this helps
