Key West diving?

Our stops are KW, Cozumel, Costa Maya and Grand Caymen.

My husband has dove Cozumel, Roatan, Aruba, and Barbados..but this will be the boys (12 and 13) first dive in the Carribean... so I think they'll think any of it is better than off the coast of San Diego and LA...but want our moneys worth.

CG and Coz definetly have alot to see, however alot of the shallow reefs in Coz have been damaged. The deeper reefs seem fine. Coz of course is drift diving which may be a little unnerving for a new diver. GC is nice and smooth with many good dive sites and warm water with almost no current. Key west is mostly shallow diving (20-30') but the reefs are pretty bare (at least the ones I went to). I have not dove in Costa Maya yet. If it were me, I would do GC first and Coz / Costa Maya would be a toss up then Key west far behind the others.
