rick5757 Posted May 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2017 Good morning to everyone. I have a question about the Café Promenade (Allure specific). I see it is open 24 hours and has snacks and such. It also appears to have a pretty good coffee menu with speciality "adult" coffee drinks. Does anyone know if the whole coffee drink menu is available 24 hours a day? debandbruce Posted May 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2017 Just off the Allure and the Cafe Promenade was our go to place for coffee and very good sandwiches and treats. We had the drink package and tried many of the drinks. Everything was always available when we went so I do not believe you would not be able to get something. Enjoy the Allure she is a lovely ship. Mrs131 Posted May 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 24, 2017 So for the coffee, do you have to have a drink package for those?
Clarea Posted May 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2017 So for the coffee, do you have to have a drink package for those? Regular coffee is included in your basic cruise fare. If you want specialty coffees (cappucino, latte, espresso), you can buy them singly, no package needed.
El Abuelo Posted May 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2017 I know Cafe Promonade serves espresso at 6 am, because that's where and when I had my mine each am. The espresso bar was open and folks were already enjoying specialty coffee when I showed up, so it sure looked to me like it was continuous operation. The people working there were very friendly, it certainly was a pleasant place to start the day. Their snack assortment changed during the day. Americanos and dry cappuccinos are my favorites. Does the $26/day package include them at the Cafe Promenade or do I need a coffee card ? What about in the MDR after dinner ? Do I need a coffee card for a cappuccino or does the $26/day package include that ? What about a glass of cranberry juice with dinner ? Is that covered by the package ? I appreciate any help you can give me ! warm regards Kristine

So, no coffee card and yes to your other questions. Not sure when your cruise is, but I checked regularly and was able to get the refreshment package at 30% off on one of the holiday sale. One nice thing about RCI is you can buy now, then cancel and repurchase at a lower price if it goes on sale.

If I can get my coffee and fruit juice, I won't cry over a few dollars, but I will check over Memorial day and the 4th. Thank you ; )
