Florry Posted May 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2017 Hi all booked on the Azura for a Norway cruise on the 22nd July, my wife has been recently diagnosed as gluten intolerant. Just wondering what sort of gluten free food is available in the buffet Sent from my iPhone using Forums On Arcadia there was a specific gluten free section/s, I just can't recall what sort of thing was served ☹️ I know you've mentioned the buffet specifically but another option is afternoon tea, generally they will make sure something is available to you whether you turn up or not. Also in the cafe they have something gluten free, I specifically remember rice crispies and chocolate things (I'm egg intolerant so that worked for me too). P&O have got much better at dealing with special diets. There is s waiter who takes your pre-order, also on the first morning watch out in the Horizon there is usually a consultation with the chefs event for special diets. I hope this helps, make sure you tell P&O before you sail. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cbelc Posted May 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2017 I wouldn't trust the buffet. My cruise mate is gluten free, soy free. We eat in the main dining room and she chooses her food for the day on the day before. Sent from my iPad using Forums
