Re: Amstel Bright

Trying to do my due diligence.....I have friends who have been to Orient Beach, and swear that Amstel Bright is the best beer that they have had. I know it's pretty exclusive, but I cannot seem to lock down which bar(s) at the beach carry that product.

Hoping some veterans of there can steer me in a good direction!!

Thanks for all the help!!

I certainly don't consider Amstel beers exclusive. Being a Dutch beer, it's pretty popular on-island. Available in every supermarket. I would assume available in many if not most/all bars.

I like Amstel Bright. Consider it a great beach-beer, though I prefer Carib.

It's a Corona-style beer, sometimes even served with lime (ask for one to see if it works for you).

There's also an Amstel Light, which I don't care for as much.

I know that Orange Fever carried Amstel Bright before the re-build of Orient beach bars. Haven't checked since.

Thanks Gary!!! I plan on trying Carib, and Presidente along with the Bright. We carry Amstel Light up here in Illinois. Glad to hear that I shouldn't have much of a problem tracking a Bright down!!
