arriving in san juan at 3am what to do

I am taking a late flight on friday which will arrive in san juan around 3am. We will be departing on a Royal Carribean cruise saturday fron san juan. After we get our luggage and everything IM figuring it will be around 4am. If i was to get a hotel, we would probably get there at 5am and sleep untill 10am. Due to this I figure we should forgo the hotel. Is there anything to do in san juan at 4am-ish and is the airport ok to hang out for 2-3 hrs? Any other ideas?

I would still get a hotel room and some of the ones we stayed at you didn't have to leave until noon. Try Priceline and put $75 for your bid, if your accepted call the hotel and tell them what time you'll be arriving so you still have a room. We got the Radisson in Oct. for $75 and didn't have to check out until noon. Even if you get to bed at 4 or 4:30 that's still 7.5 hrs of rest.

I would at least get a hotel for a few hours also. You do not want to be to tired on your first day on the ship.
