Not Cruising for Bruising Posted March 11, 2018 #28 Share Posted March 11, 2018 I recently attended a seminar by DRI and part of the high pressure sales pitch included a statement whereby the sales people stated that they owned NCL, Later, someone referred to it as a sister company. In any case, both statements were lies. The company which bought DRI, Apollo Mgt holdings, owns about 15 percent or 25 million shares of NCL. stock. It would appear that they are significant shareholders of that stock, but they can liquidate those positions. I would say that they are more a business partner as opposed to owner. In either case, as long as they don't become majority shareholders, the integrity of NCL should remain intact. DRI has a bad rep when it comes to delivering as advertised. Lots of litigation. read the cases. https://www.truthinadvertising.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Harding-v-Diamond-Resorts-Holdings-complaint.pdf http://insidetimeshare.com/1billion-law-suit-diamond-resorts-international/ https://www.nasdaq.com/quotes/institutional-portfolio/apollo-management-holdings-lp-798066
