St.Petersburg Private Tour

We want to take a 2 day private tour for 4 to St. Petersburg. Any positive or negative reviews for deciding between Allure, TJ, SPB, or Denrus? Looking for a flexible company in case we would like to stay longer at one site or change itinerary. Any advice on what should be avoided (not worth it) or a must visit?

I assume that was a typo and you meant Alla not Allure

 

all get good reviews but of course very few people will have used more than one to compare

 

by emailing your requirements you will soon get an idea which is the one for you based on their responses

We used SPB Tours before. They were very responsive on email inquiries befor the tour even if we are already booked. Very professional and knowledgeable guides. Not regretted using them.

We have the exact same tour booked with SPB. We will be going in June so I will let you know how our experience was if that is of any help.

Just for clarification I am assuming you mean a private tour for just your family? In that case, I'd say that any of the companies should be flexible if it is just your family. We did a private tour and were easily able to stay longer or shorter based upon our 3.5 year old son's interests. As long as you pick a reputable, long standing company you should be fine - and you have a lot of those on your list.

 

One thing to consider some companies suggested starting later (10 am) on day one and earlier on day 2 since Russian immigration is very slow on the first day when they thoroughly process everyone's documents. On the second day, most people have been stamped already and they just check the stamp is there, and don't examine your documents again so it is a lot faster.
