What to do?

We will be in Costa Maya on board the Fantasy at the end of July. It will be me, my wife and 2 sons (17 and 18). We have thought about doing the Jeep excursion through Carnival but we are wondering if it is worth 500.00. Is there anything else we could do? Has anyone rented golf carts? Or can I rent a Jeep on my own. Lets hear some suggestion's. The only thing is we are not interested in the Mayan ruins and a beach day because we will be at Mr. Sanchos the next day.

If you want an all inclusive beach, we would recommend Maya Chan. You can find them on TripAdvisor. Relaxing day on their small beach. Awesome food, great service and off the beaten path. Has beach activities

How about a cenote? Snorkeling or diving or swimming. Cenote Azul maybe..

My friends did a Segway Tour on the Malecon in the morning and enjoyed it. Teens seem to like the more active area of the beach - Tropicante - Krazy Lobster - lots of people and loud music.
