ChelePA Posted June 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2017 Thought about doing the jet ski tour. My 13 year old daughter is a little afraid. So I was thinking maybe renting a Boston Whaler would be fun. Any experience? Worth it or not? Thanks!
cruisenow09 Posted June 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2017 Somerset water sports and grotto bay are the two places we have rented whalers and had a great experience at both. Grotto Bay offered much calmer and protected waterways. Cruising up to St George was a great experience with lots to see. Somerset did a great job as well. Very easy to figure out how to drive the boats...just watch out for reefs. The side of the island towards Hamilton was definately choppy and less enjoyable than cruising up to the ship wrecks and enjoying that side of the island. doones2 Posted June 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2017 We rented a Boston Whaler with Somerset Watersports. We had a great time. Picked up lunch and drinks on the way, to pack in the cooler they supply. Had lunch on the beach where the old 9 beaches resort use to be.
